So I decided to be pro-active with the remaining hours of my day and get in the hot tub, but now I am exhausted by such a strenuous activity so I’m relaxing by watching a movie…what movie? why without a doubt, the Oxygen nightly presentation of The Notebook.

Yet it brings to mind one of the great mysteries of life…

I own the Notebook on DVD (actually, I’m permanently borrowing it from a friend who just so happened to leave it at my house and 3 years later, still hasn’t realized) yet I am watching it on TV with commercial breaks.  Isn’t this WHY dvds exist? Yet I know I am not alone in this, this affects millions of people- I am 75% sure of it.  Maybe I love the anger & impatience I feel as I have to sit through the same commercials of razors, tylenol & the new season of Jon & Kate Plus 8 (for realsies though, they played the SHIZ out of that promo during WE memorial day marathon of The Golden Girls- aka the best day of my life, as well as another worthless day.)

I will never understand why I own so many dvds & never watch them, but instead watch them when they air on TV.

Thus ends the “What is up with that?” session of the night.
